WRITING SCENTS

Positive Affirmations in a Bottle

Organic Essential Oil Blends

A positive affirmation is on the bottle label

and the blend uses specific oils to help you create that affirmation.

For Writers & Other Creators

~ Create a writing ritual or enhance your writing experience ~

HOW TO USE

Place the positive affirmation bottle on your desk.

Your subconscious will accept the words.

Open the bottle and roll a bit of blend on your hand, wrist, neck, or head

Inhale deeply while thinking about your affirmation. ( I Am Focused or I Am Inspired …)

Begin each writing, editing, or brainstorming cycle in the same way, using the appropriate affirmation and blend.

Use the blends as often as you like.

Offered in a convenient 10ml roller bottle

You’ll be surprised what a quick whiff can do for your productivity.

Six one-of-a-kind organic blends to bolster creativity and productivity

How and Why Does This Work?

When you use scent as part of your ritual to prepare for an upcoming action, such as writing, revising, or editing …  your brain accepts that scent as a signal of what is to come and prepares for the activities you associate with that smell.

For example, just a few whiffs of a particular blend alert the brain that you’re about to sit at your desk to focus or to become inspired. By utilizing our Positive Affirmation Blends as part of your routine, you create a neural shortcut that helps reinforce the positive behavior you hope to make more regular. Each blend is designed using particular oils in exact amounts that evoke a specific frame of mind based on their chemical composition and reputations regarding emotional support.

A Bit More

I am a life-long user of positive affirmations to help shape and create my reality. In addition, essential oils have long been known to elicit emotional responses. They help to create moods, relax and uplift our mental attitude, all of which help with the creative process. So why not marry the two into one application? Genius!

Using our sense of smell as a tool for creativity, we stimulate our memory and emotions and activate our brain via the limbic system. The limbic system is responsible for pleasure, emotion, and memory. Therefore, the more we smell a particular scent, the more we retain a clear vision of a memory or experience associated with that smell. This helps to create patterns of new habits needed for the creative writing process.

Because so many essential oils are available, knowing which ones are right for you may be unclear. So, in conjunction with a master blender from France, we have solved the selection conundrum and created six blends specifically to help with your craft.

Where Do We Get Our Oils?

Our oils are sourced from organic-only producers from around the world. The oils are not grocery store oils, not from Amazon, or multi-level marketing suppliers like YL or DT. Because of our direct relationships, our prices are sensible. In addition, we use organic grapeseed oil as the carrier oil, which is safe for those with nut allergies.

Our master blender is from Côte d’Azur in France – formally of the perfume laboratory in Eze Village – and considers the oil’s quality, various uses, and properties it holds for each affirmation need. Each oil is batch-specific GC-MS tested and has the certificate of analysis. Each bottle is blended and poured upon your order, so they are absolutely fresh!

Our blender has created these unique scents just for The Firebird Collection. You will not find these exact blends anywhere else – and they are quite yummy.

I hope you enjoy!

Pat

Special Early Pricing – $16.50 per bottle

I Am Energized – a swirl of citrus & peppermint, with a late & light note of ‘licoricey’ anise

I Am Inspired – the yang of black spruce meets the yin of soft rose, & a luscious lime filling

I Am Focused – rosemary flirts with the mints in an intoxicating ylang-ylang dance

I Am Empowered – a no-nonsense blend of clove, lemon, cinnamon, rosemary, & eucalyptus

I Am Relaxed – life in an orange creamsicle or is it an almond cinnamon cookie?

I Am Relieved – this is for aches and pains associated with sitting too long during the creative process, hunched shoulders, and headaches … frankincense and myrrh in healing magnesium oil – drug-free, fast-acting topical analgesics.

Set of all 6 – FREE SHIPPING U.S. only

International orders – please get in touch with us first before purchasing so we can calculate the shipping.

Note: Because some essential oils are unsafe for pets, we offer the rollerball application versus diffusion. In this way, only you or the person wearing the blend will have proximity to the scent.

Note: We are not offering these in any medical or healing capacity. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting any new product usage. Also, if you are pregnant, please check with your doctor.

The Firebird Collection Started Twenty Years Ago in France

My trip to the Côte d’Azur some twenty years ago ended with a blurry evening perched high atop a chateau restaurant in the medieval village of Eze. The Benz Tourrider barely clinging to the mountain road overlooking the Mediterranean Sea left me edgy. Teetering on this cliff ride between Nice and Monaco, I recall the ankles of the guy next to me, a slick-haired smooth talker wearing Italian loafers and no socks, the snapping of expensive cameras, and hearing the word Pashmina too many times.

As the night quickly spun from sophisticated to madcap, solids to liquids, I vaguely remember people dancing on tables. I vividly see myself dancing with Versace, as she seemed to have an eye for me. Colorful crudités displayed in abundance directly on the wood of overly scratched tables struck me as unclean as the dancing continued. A risky restroom hike down dozens of cobbled stairs revealed hot-pink bougainvillea and gnomes darting about the grass, playing hide and seek amid ancient tree stumps.

Too much French fare and dedicated servers who seemed to enjoy the repeated wine pours left that evening forever memorable, albeit cloudy in my psyche.

My only regret is that I did not visit the Parfumerie Fragonard at the base of the village. For some reason, this haunts me. Something was there for me in that mythical perfume laboratory. But what was I meant to experience there? A delicious bottle of Héliotrope gingembre? The intoxicating scent of Santal Cardamome? Encens fève tonka? A handsome man named Luc with the good sense to wear some socks?

The thought of this place often comes and goes, leaving me wistful. Then last year, seemingly out of the blue, I met a retired master blender of that same perfume laboratory!

After many conversations, she helped create formulas for essential oil blends to support the creative writing process. As a result, the Firebird Collection contains six scents to assist writers and other creatives. The distinctive labels offer a visual affirmation, while each blend uses specific oils based on their chemical composition to evoke the frame of mind to match each affirmation. Two in one – positive affirmations in and on the bottle.

I still wonder about that evening. Did my missed Parfumerie visit eventually find me? I don’t know. But I do know I am pleased to share these elegant and purposeful blends with you.

ENJOY!

“I Am Empowered.”  I am glad I picked this selection when I made my purchase.  With the combination of oil mixtures, I love the aroma it gives off.  What a great title: ’tis a mighty name for a powerful scent.
