How does this work?

The best way for listeners to learn about you is to hear your voice and message. Author and radio host veteran Patricia J. Rullo, hostess of three nationally syndicated radio programs, will interview you via the telephone. Your topic, book genre, or message can be on any subject, and we will explore and share your work with our listening audience.

The interview is pre-recorded to allow for edits, if necessary, to help make you and your message shine.

We add copyright-free music during the intro and outro to add extra polish.

Proceeds fund the pillowcase project – sending handmade one-of-a-kind pillowcases to homeless women and children’s shelters via Enchanted Makeovers, a 501(c)3 charity, and other shelters nationwide. You will receive a tax donation letter.

Who is the host? Will I be in good hands?

In addition to hosting three nationally syndicated radio programs, Pat is a respected author, speaker, and trainer in patient safety. She has collaborated with prominent healthcare organizations, including the Cleveland Clinic, the Ohio Nurses Association, and the World Congress, to enhance the patient experience. Her extensive and impressive interview work with physicians and scientists worldwide led her to found The Speak Up Talk Radio Network, where she primarily interviews authors across genres. She is certified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. She has held sales and personality training sessions with New York Life, Transamerica Life, and other insurance companies nationwide. She has authored ten books, written for scores of trade magazines, is an advocate for animals, is attuned in animal reiki, has 13 rescue cats and a very old cockatiel, and most importantly, knows how to make people feel comfortable during conversation. Her warm and friendly style will immediately put you at ease, and you’ll feel like you’re talking with an old friend.

Where and how do you promote my interview?

Your nominal hosting fee funds the pillowcase project, where we make and send handmade pillowcases to homeless women’s and children’s shelters via Enchanted Makeovers and other shelters nationwide. We’ve been making and sending pillowcases since 2010, and initially worked through Soldiers’ Angels. Your name is added to our next pillowcase delivery as the donor. It’s a great way to do what we love – talk radio – while giving back. Your hosting fee provides not only a professionally produced interview for marketing purposes and advertising on high-profile radio venues, but also funds the purchase of fabric and supplies needed to make and send the pillowcases.

Can I post the audio on my website?

Yes – You can broadcast anywhere else on the Internet, including your website, social media, email blasts, and more. In fact, we encourage you to use this marketing tool to promote yourself whenever and wherever you can. We will also provide you with our logo, allowing you to embed the audio within it on your website.

What do you need from me?

You can send us a short bio, contact information, a picture of you, and any books or products you’d like to share.

May I see the questions ahead of time?

Absolutely. We’re not here to trick you or make you nervous. About 95% of our guests prefer ‘not’ to know the questions ahead of time to make for a more natural-sounding conversation, but if you’d like to prepare before the interview, we will happily furnish the questions to you. You can even create the questions for us if that makes you feel more comfortable. We are open to anything. After all, it’s your interview.

How soon after the interview will I get the audio?

We are as fast as lightning. You will have your audio file and the page link within 24 hours. But it’s usually in a few hours, depending on the day’s workload. Pat will share more details on the day of your interview.

Can I speak with someone personally before I decide?
